Blossom Leilani Crawford

Blossom has been practicing and teaching Pilates for over 15 years. Her introduction to the Pilates method was in 1993 through Master teacher Kathleen Stanford Grant while she was a dance student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Using Pilates, Blossom learned to heal and care for her back, thus easing her chronic back pain while at the same time maintaining a rigorous physical schedule.

From 1997 to 2007 Blossom was the teaching assistant to Mrs. Grant's Pilates mat class at Tisch. Inspired by Mrs. Grant's teaching, in addition to the benefits she was seeing in her body through her own Pilates practice, Blossom decided to pursue a Pilates teaching certification through private study with Romana Kryzanowska at Drago's Gym in New York. Since then, she has been teaching at studios throughout New York City and around the country. Blossom believes that there is joy in movement and in taking time to care for one 's body. That is her goal for each of her students.

Blossom is the owner and director of Bridge Pilates in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to her teaching assistant position at NYU, she also continues to teach mat classes at the Mark Morris Dance Center in downtown Brooklyn. As well, Blossom has been a concert dancer since the early 1990s, performing for several prominent choreographers in New York City.

Dylan Goodrich

Dylan Goodrich is a fully certified Pilates Instructor who studied at the Kane School of Core Integration under the founder, Kelly Kane, in New York City. Dylan was introduced to Pilates through her doctor as a way to heal her back and neck pain after a car accident in 1997. (She was in a car that was rear-ended by five other cars in a pile up accident!) With Pilates, she was able to rehabilitate her back, neck and shoulders while discovering that her posture was better than before the accident. Dylan feels this experience has made her sensitive to understanding clients working through limitations and pain.

Dylan's teaching in Pilates has focused on osteoporosis, scoliosis and postpartum Pilates. Dylan is co-creator of the postpartum guide "Get in Shape after Having a Baby." In addition, Dylan holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Sonoma State University and is a musician and actress.

Sasha is also a certified Cancer Exercise Specialist.

Frances Darnell

Frances is a certified Pilates instructor from the Kane School of Core Integration in New York. She was first introduced to Pilates at Sarah Lawrence College where she was studying dance and nutrition. She found that Pilates helped her stay connected to her body in her travels abroad to Cuba and New Zealand. As an athlete and dancer she has found that this practice has made her a stronger and more articulate mover. She is inspired to motivate and teach her clients to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Frances appreciates the strengthening of the Pilates method, and continues to study under Bob Liekens at Power Pilates to reinforce this in her practice and teaching. Her philosophy in teaching is to share the joy of moving. Her goals for her clients are to strengthen, mobilize, and increase flexibility. Her Pilates teaching has focused on fitness training, post-partum, and scoliosis. Frances continues to perform dance in New York, as well as participate in half-marathons.
